copyright
If the original creator dies their idea would still be protected by copyright for 70 years.
In this lesson we had to present different parts of copyright with music, still pictures and moving images. With music you have 3 strikes and then there will be consequences if you ignore all 3. If the idea has been out for 70 years you can use the idea for free. You would need to check if the idea has been sent to another company just in case. There is creative commons with music which lets you use the music they create but you need to ask for permission and also credit them for their work. You could be sent to jail or be made to pay fee's if you ignore the copyright. You even have to be careful if someone is watching tv because it is still copyright

Some good research but the "three strikes rule" only applies to uploading or downloading copyrighted material to the internet. However the point about "You even have to be careful if someone is watching tv because it is still copyright" is very good and part of why copyright law and enforcement can be complicated.
