My proposal

My short film will be no longer the two minutes, I am going to aim for a minute and a half. It will be a short horror film. The story will be set in current day at the college and will feature a student exploring the lower levels of the college and they will come across a dark secret that the college have been hiding. It will probably end when the student finds the secret and maybe I will have someone standing behind him and then cut it off making the viewers wonder what happened to the student after. I will probably only have the one actor maybe two if we feel like it is needed. It is going to be single strand just following the person round the college to see what they uncover. I am going to leave it as an open ending so once it ends it will leave the audience wondering what happened next. There will be no flash backs it will all be happening at the time with a beginning, middle and end.

I'm not sure what all the effects i'm going to use, I might do it in black and white and maybe it have slow motion at the end when the camera moves up and shows the man behind the student. I could use some green screen also add some special effects like some blood on the walls,

For the sound I wanted to have some creepy music as the student is going down the stairs. Also I could have non diegetic sounds of someone laughing or walking, Just to show that there is something down there but no one knows what.

The audience I am aiming at has to be young teenagers, the certificate for the film would have to be no higher than a 12A. I think it would be more aimed at males rather than females. It will have to aimed at people interested in the horror genre.
